Good morningggg! Its Monday, the BEST day outta the week, am I right? As you guys sip on your Timmies coffee, teas and such things, I will provide you with today’s quote. Shall we begin?
This quote was obtained from the bible. Now, you don’t have to be religious to understand what its sayings, nor do you even have to be of christian faith.
Anywho, today’s quote is taken from Matthew 6 verse 34:
“So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.”
In today’s society, stress is a huge problem many Canadians face. Research has found that this thing called stress, effects us in many ways; the way we function, the way we eat, the fact stress makes conditions worse, for example, a heart condition or mental illnesses. Some can manage, some can not. Why though? Why can some people manage and some can not?
In my opinion, stress is something we can not avoid. Its how we manage that stress, and for many, “worrying” about things, for example, BILLS, brings on a whole lot of stress. Not all the time the bigger picture is important, at least for the day. Why? Because sometimes the bigger picture brings fear n anxiety. Yes, we all got bills to pay, a house to manage, a car to maintain,a job to keep, we ALL have responsibilities but sometimes that fear of not having enough, or not able to keep up or losing whatever it is, tends to be what brings on that stress. Its a mind set of negative “what ifs” we gotta learn to filter.Brainstorm positive ways to manage the stresses of TODAY.
Take it one day at a time. Like the verse says:
Today’s trouble is enough for today boom.
